His diverse background—starting as an assistant on the current affairs programme Adarniya Pradan Mantri for Zee TV, assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, transitioning into advertising as a copywriter, and eventually returning to Mumbai to write for television, directing music videos and eventually foraying into writing and directing his own Feature Films—has given him a wealth of experiences that shape his unique storytelling approach. Each phase of his career has contributed to his ability to craft intimate, relatable stories, as seen in films like Love Wrinkle-free, Hola Venky, Shreelancer, Nirmal Anand Ki Puppy, and his most recent work,
Danny Goes Aum.
